Having acquired a Master Level as a USA Hockey instructor, Coach Rutherford seamlessly integrates his extensive playing experience at a high collegiate level into his coaching philosophy.

As a former standout player, Coach Rutherford's passion for the game led him to become a head coach for prominent travel hockey teams such as the Buffalo Junior Sabres, and Buffalo Regals SCTA teams. This journey led to the creation of the book, "The Hockey Practice Manual," a testament to his dedication and innovative approach to the sport.

Coach Rutherford's impact extends beyond the rink, as his cutting-edge drills and training methods have propelled numerous local players to realize their full potential. His coaching prowess has been instrumental in guiding athletes to the NHL, Division 1 and Division 3 college programs.
